According to The People today, Cardiff City boss Malky McKay is ready to agree an £800,000 fee for Coventry City defender Richard Keogh.

The defender has another year on his City contract and is due to talks with Steve Waggott and Andy Thorn tomorrow about a new deal.

However, the paper claims that McKay is looking to strengthen his side which lost to West Ham United in the Championship Play-offs and hopes to agree a fee for Keogh who would team up again with Ben Turner and Aron Gunnarsson.
