Tomorrow night's Capital One Cup between Rochdale And Coventry City will be Coventry City’s sixth visit to Spotland for a competitive match and the second time for a League Cup tie.
On October 8th 1991, Coventry City, having beaten Rochdale 4-0 at Highfield Road, lost 1-0 at Spotland in a League Cup second leg with Clive Baker who was in goal for City that night at fault for the goal.
Of their five previous visits to Spotland, City have lost all five matches with the heaviest defeat a 4-1 loss in a Third Divison North game in 1925/26.
