Speaking to the CET about the rumours surrounding him moving to various clubs - the latest being Newcastle United, Calum Davenport said: The talk isn't unsettling and any speculation linking me with another club in the papers a compliment, but I just try take it in my stride and not worry about it too much because what will be, will be.

"I have only got a year left on my contract and I am not too sure what is going on behind the scenes to be honest and I want to try to concentrate on my football. Whatever happens off the pitch will happen and I am just focused on Coventry.

"I sat down with the club last week just to see what was happening. A few things were said and I am just waiting to see what happens, so I am not too sure.

"I am certainly not desperate to leave. I have been here five and half years and the club have been tremendous to me and I am enjoying my time here.

"I have got a family, as everyone knows I have a little girl now, and we are all settled so we are in no rush to go anywhere. But if the club want to sell me then I will have to wait and see what happens."
