Calf Strain Recurrence For Hall

Coventry City defender Marcus Hall had a recurrence of a calf strain injury during the defeat at Scunthorpe United and is a doubt for Coventry City's Championship game against Newcastle United tomorrow night.

Speaking to the CT, Hall said: "I wasn't expecting to play at the weekend. "I have had problems with my calf and it flared up in the game, so I have to get a scan because it feels like I have got a little tear in it.

"You always want to go into games fully fit and I hate having to hold back, but I will know more once I have had the scan."

Chris Coleman will have Patrick van Aanholt back from his one match ban but does not have any more fresh injury worries apart from Hall.

Newcastle are without Kevin Nolan and have Shola Ameobi in line for a return.
