According to the Coventry Telegraph's Les Reid, Michael Byng has confirmed that he had submitted a bid to the Administrator for Coventry City Football Club Ltd.
Bids for whatever lies in CCFC Ltd, something that according to Steve Brookfield, is a rates rebate of around £400k, had to be with the Administrator Paul Appleton by Friday just gone.
A Sisu related entity and a consortium involving Preston Haskell IV are also confirmed as bidders along with the Whitacre based businessman who has made known his interest in the NUCKLE railway scheme which includes a train station at the Ricoh Arena.
Mr Reid tweeted; "Michael Byng just confirmed to me he HAS made indicative bid to buy #CCFC Ltd. We know Elliott & Sisu met Fri's deadline too."
