Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has admitted that he is looking forward to his side's trip to the Arena on Saturday and the chance to catch up with some old friends.

"I've known Mick a long time from our Third Division days when we were rivals, but I'm looking forward to seeing him and pitting my wits," said Cotterill, speaking to Burnley's official web-site.

It is not just Micky Adams that Cotterill knows, the Clarets boss is a former Wimbledon player who knows Alan Cork and Dennis Wise. Micky and Corky are completely different characters, which is probably what you need, they are both good lads too and I know Corky from way back.

"There is Adrian Heath there as well and I'm looking forward to seeing them all and I've no doubt we'll enjoy a glass of wine after the game.

"Dennis Wise's had a magnificent career and he's a good player, always has been.

"People say he's a good player now, but you should have seen him a few years ago in his time at Wimbledon and Chelsea, he's had a magnificent career.

"We're just hoping he gets a manager's job before Saturday!"
