Che Bunce has been talking about his move to Coventry City.

"I'm a good old-fashioned centre-back," said Bunce told the Sky Blue World. "I roll my sleeves up and I get stuck in. I've got a bit of experience to offer as well so I'm looking forward to my time here.

"To be honest, I don't know a lot about Coventry City or the Championship. I have obviously seen some of the Premiership games on TV but being at Coventry will all be a bit of a new experience for me to be honest.

"I was all set to sign for Dundee United and then this offer came along. It was a great opportunity to come here and I couldn't help but take it."

Other deadline day news sees David Thompson who was highly popular during his time at Highfield Road join Bolton from Portsmouth for a nominal fee.

Neil Wood is out until the start of next season after injuring a anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Woody is currently at Oldham Athletic.

In the Championship, Southampton beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 and West Brom beat Plymouth by the same score.
