Brush Swept Out

Richard Brush has left Coventry City after his contract expired.

The Birmingham born keeper came through the Academy ranks and was impressing in the reserves and at Tamworth where he was on loan before he broke his wrist during pre-season training in the 2004-2005 season.

He then missed the whole of the season and had a number of operations. Brushie (who hates being called Basil) recovered to play this season for the reserves against Rugby Town and Crystal Palace but knew that appearances would be limited and has left the club.
