Brum Bid Turned Down

Coventry City have rejected a £2m bid for Gary McSheffrey.

Today's Birmingham Mail quotes City Chairman Geoffrey Robinson as saying: "Gary McSheffrey is not for sale, he is central to our plans and a key element in 'Operation Premiership'."

West Brom,Reading and Sheffield United have also been rumoured to be interested in signing the Coventry born striker who scored seventeen goals last season and won almost all of the supporter awards.
