According to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Bristol City are keeping an eye on the talks City will be having with Richard Keogh when he returns from honeymoon.
Bristol City boss Derek McInnes is reported as monitoring the situation and could be interested in submitting a new improved bid.
The side from Ashton Gate have already had one bid called "derisory" by Steve Waggott.
