Briscoe Released By AFC Telford

Former Coventry City reserve teamer Michael Briscoe has been released by AFC Telford.

Briscoe joined City from Northamptonshire based side Harpole FC in 2002 and although he was a regular for City Reserves, he was released without making an appearance for City's first team.

He then played for Macclesfield Town, Burton Albion, Hucknall Town, Tamworth, Halesowen, Kidderminster Harriers before joining AFC Telford in June 2012.

Briscoe only made nine appearances for the Bucks Head based side and was one of six players released by Telford who were relegated from the Conference Premier Division.
