So far, over 8,000 football shirts have been donated to countries such as Kenya, Mozambique, Iraq, Afghanistan and Lesotho.
City's club shop boss Justin Tose, told the club website that the first 250 supporters to bring in shirts could have ten pounds off a new one.
Tose said: "It's a win-win situation. By bringing in their old football shirt, fans can save £10 on the new kit but, at the same time, they are helping this fantastic project.
"Football is a massive part of people's lives across the world and that can be seen by some of the work that has already taken place through this scheme.
"When I heard about it, I thought Coventry City should be involved and it would be great to think that there are hundreds of people in Africa suddenly getting their hands on Sky Blue colours.
"Our aim is to get to 250 shirts and we are expecting such strong interest - especially as we are getting so close to the Christmas shopping season - that I'm hopeful we will achieve that.
"We are delighted that our fans will be able to help out in this way and the fact that we can lend our support by offering this £10 discount."
