According to the Coventry Observer, Brentford FC's bid for Coventry City midfielder Ben Stevenson is only worth £750k.

A figure of £1.5m has been bandied about but that is only believed the full total if all the add-ons came to fruition, something City supporters know, rarely happens with players who are sold.

The same paper is also reporting that City are not in the running for Marcus Browne. The striker for West Ham's Development side was looked at by Mark Venus but the Coventry Observer understand that Russell Slade is not of the same mind.
