Break Did Us Good - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman is pleased with the way his players have trained after their few days off.

The players were given four days off last week due to no game andhave returned fresher and sharper which has delighted the City boss.

"The boys have come back from their little weekend break really well," said Coleman to the CT.

"They were magnificent on Monday and looked really sharp again on Tuesday.

"It was good for them to get a bit of time away and away from each other as well because, while they are a good bunch, they spend a lot of time with each other.

"But judging by the last few days of training it was well worth them not seeing each other for three or four days.

"What we don't want is a season where we crawl over the line because a good end to the season sets you up for a good pre-season.

"And if you have a good pre-season that sets you up for a good start to the new season, and that's the way it works and there is nothing worse than finishing badly like we did last year."
