Bradford City Appoint Former Player As New Boss

Bradford City have appointed a former player and manager as their new manager.

Stuart McCall had two playing spells at Valley Parade and also managed the Bantams and replaces Phil Parkinson who left for Bolton Wanderers.

McCall, who has signed a two year deal said to Bradford City's club website: "I'm delighted to be back at this great club and I'm looking forward to the exciting challenge ahead," McCall told the club's official website.

"Over the next few days I will be getting to know the staff and working with the chairmen on building a competitive squad for the new season."
