Bothroyd Leaving Cardiff

Former Coventry City striker Jay Bothroyd is leaving Cardiff City.

The striker is out of contract at the City of Cardiff Stadium on July 1st and made 129 appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring 45 goals.

Chris Burke is also leaving and a statement issued by Cardiff said:"Contracts have not been offered to Jay Bothroyd and Chris Burke following an inability for all parties to agree suitable terms." 

Former Sky Blues Craig Bellamy and Stephen Bywater have returned to their parent clubs although Bellamy has indicated that he would like another season long loan at the club which lost out to Reading in the Championship Play-Offs.
