Burton Albion boss Gary Rowett felt that both sides showed great composure during the penalties last night.

After a 0-0 draw against Coventry City in ninety minutes, it took twenty two penalties to see the Sky Blues progress into the second round.

Speaking to the Press Association, the Burton boss said:  "It was a slightly bizarre ending but the fact that there wasn't a big crowd in there meant there was less pressure on the players, nevertheless you have to show that great composure and I think both teams did that.

"I thought we did really well. We've had a really tough run of games in that we have been drawn away in every cup competition. That is our seventh game and five of them have been away so far.

"If you count Sheffield United, Rotherham and Leicester amongst them, we have had a really tough start but we have shown that we can play against a big side and I thought the players did fantastically well.

"The problem is that we haven't been able to replicate the performances of the Tuesday on the Saturday. But we will take the clean sheet and take confidence from that."
