Coventry City are again rock bottom of League One after a 3-0 loss at Charlton that will be remembered far more for the protests by concerned supporters than anything which happened on the pitch.

In a game which kicked off but was immediately halted due to thousands of plastic pigs being smuggled into the ground and then thrown on the pitch by both sets of supporters irate at what has become of their clubs.

Play was suspended for seven minutes as supporters made their feelings known.

City had Ruben Lameiras hit the post in the 31st minute but Charlton broke and Ricky Holmes scored, despite looking offside.

Both sets of fans continued to protest throughout the second half with Charlton fans in t-shirt, spelling "SISU OUT" sat right in the face of Mark Venus.

In the 78th minute, City went two goals down when a mistake allowed the ball to go across the area and Ademola Lookman scored with ease.

Four minutes from time and Josh McGennis finished off a superb move to send City to a 3-0 defeat.
