Micky Adams is concerned about the distances his squad will have to travel for the two pre-season games in America.

The first sees a trek to Portland in Oregon on July 8th of some eight thousand miles and then another thousand miles to get to the second game in Provo,Utah to face Brigham Young University four days later.

As usual with City pre-season's, the game was arranged by an agent and Adams told the CET: "We are not looking forward to the journey over there but certainly the two games will be a stern test."

City supporters considering the trip can expect to pay around £1,000 in flights alone.
