Bouwe Bosma admitted to being surprised when Coventry City came in for him.
The midfielder who made 37 appearanes for Lewes scoring seven times, told the Lewes club website: “I didn’t expect it, to be honest,” he said of of the approach from the Sky Blues. “I kept my head down and just worked hard. This is my first full season, really, where I’ve been involved most of the time and I’ve really enjoyed this year.”
Lewes manager Darren Freeman said: “That’s the sort of club we are, we’re not going to stand in a player’s way. That’s another player who’s gone on to a professional club and hopefully that shows young players that we can help them achieve their dreams.”
