Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has welcomes the news that the board of directors are looking for new investors for the club.

Yesterday one of the new directors Ken Dulieu spoke publicly about his role and vision for the club and revealed that they were in negotiations with interested parties in the Far East with the aim of securing financial investment in the Coventry City brand.

The city boss was asked if he welcomed the news of possible new investment in the club, he replied to the CT: "I am yes. I pick up the paper every day and read an interview with a new board member and that's good."

"I have said before I have been fortunate enough to have been promoted in the past and what you have got with promoted teams, generally as a rule, is that the board and the playing side and the club are all as one because everyone has to row in the right direction."

"You pick a direction and keep going in it, but wanting money and getting money are different things. I have certainly found that out and I am sure they will find that out too."
