Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that City must be properly prepared for the visit of Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Coventry have managed to score in most of their games this season bar the games at Hull City and Crystal Palace, but Middlesbrough arrive at The Ricoh Arena, having won only once on the road this season and have lost seven. They scored a derisory four away goals all season.

On the face of it the City defence could be forgiven for thinking they could be in for an easy time on Saturday, but Boothroyd has other ideas.

He said to the CT:"That suggests a team who haven't had very much luck away from home and we have to make sure it doesn't turn against us. Sometimes stats. can be deceiving and with the players they have got and the budget and manger they have now got, it is one of those you don't know what you are going to get on the day.

"They are a team who could take you apart or one you could beat, so we have to focus on what we have got and make sure we are right and do what we have to do to turn them over.

"They have got some excellent players and are a good club, a good team and have a good history. Steve Harrison had a terrific time there in probably one of the best periods in their history so it is going to be a very difficult game and we will not be underestimating them because we know on their day they can beat anyone in the league, just like we can."
