"One of the massive positives to come out of this period is the supporters," said the City boss to the CT.
"The support we have had from start to finish has been terrific. It was great when we were winning and at the top end of the table and now we are in the mediocre mid table area, it is still good.
"They are still singing and supporting us and that's what we need right now. We need everyone to stick together and that strength of character that the fans are showing."
