Coventry City boss Aidy Boothroyd has praised Chris Hussey for his performance at Nuneaton Town last night.

The former AFC Wimbledon defender was given compassionate leave and left the training camp in Austria early after his mum had a minor heart attack. However, Hussey has returned and played well last night in City's 0-0 draw.

"I spoke to Chris on Tuesday before he came back and things have settled down a bit at home and I thought he was one of the many bright things from last night's game at Nuneaton," said Boothroyd to the CT.

"Some things are more important than football and hopefully she will be back to normal soon."
