Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd is having to play the waiting game over new players.

The City boss was hoping to have a decision on a player by the end of yesterday and hopes to have two players if not four signed on by the time, the squad leave for their Austrian training camp on Sunday July 4th.

Boothroyd speaking at yesterday's Diamond Club lunch said that he had his list of players he wanted but had a shadow squad if that fell through.

City's Chairman Ray Ranson has been heavily involved in the negotiations, allowing the new manager to attend to other matters.
