Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has been forced to re-organise his training due to the cold snap which has seen temperatures plummetting over the last few days.

The City management team have used the Alan Higgs Centre and the Esporta Centre in Whitley over the last few days and the City boss told the CT: "We had to reorganise a bit and train at the Alan Higgs Centre yesterday morning and then we managed to get a little mini circuit going outside in the afternoon, so that was good and everyone is looking very good.

"We are having a steady day at Esporta today to give the boys a bit of a recovery day because yesterday was very, very hard for them.

"We are hoping Thursday and Friday will be a little better in terms of the thaw but if not we are going to have to see if we can get on the Ricoh to train."
