Bookies Tipping City For The Drop

Coventry City are amongst the favourites amongst the bookmakers to get relegated this season.

With the club's financial problems meaning that they have not been able to bring in the amount of players they have in previous pre-seasons, the bookies have been quick to offer odds on City dropping out of the Championship at the end of the 2011/2012 season.

Most of the bookies have City, the side who has been in the Championship longer than any other club, to finish third bottom above Barnsley and Doncaster and are offering odds of 2/1 although Corals are offering 15/8 on City, Barnsley and Doncaster.

Victor Chandler are offering odds of 5/2 with William Hill offering odds of 7/4 on City being relegated.
