According to reports, betting on who will be the next manager of Doncaster Rovers has re-opened.

Betting had been suspended with Coventry City manager Mark Robins quoted at 1/5.

However, the likes of Bet Victor have reopened the betting and Bet Victor spokesman Charlie McCann said to the Coventry Telegraph: "We have reopened the market for the next manager of Doncaster Rovers with Coventry boss Mark Robins.

"Punters were falling over themselves to back the Sky Blues boss at any price yesterday.

"There was much head scratching here as to why Robins would be contemplating a return to South Yorkshire having made such an excellent start at the Ricoh Arena.

"Despite appearing to rule himself out of the vacant position as manager of Doncaster Rovers, Robins remains odds on favourite to take over at the Keepmoat although we have eased him from 1/4 to 4/7.

"We have heard this type of comment before and it would be fair to say we haven’t exactly been knocked over with punters wishing to back other potential candidates although we have had a nibble again for both Paul Dickov (8s from 12) and Steve Lomas (10s from 12) but not the weight of interest as there was with Robins yesterday."
