Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has told supporters unhappy at the way the club had been going over the summer to boo him and the Chairman not the players.

According to the CT, City are prepared for a low gate tomorrow against Ipswich Town at the Ricoh Arena (12.45 kick off). Although the fact that the game is live on Sky is likely to keep more people away than those unhappy with the selling of players.

"If you want to have a go at somebody, make it me or the Chairman - not the players," said Chris Coleman to the CT.

"However, I hope many fans turn up and I hope they get behind the team.

"I know there is some negativity around. We've lost two very good players but if they wanted those moves to happen and if Manchester United can lose Christiano Ronaldo, we can lose Scott Dann and Danny Fox.

"But we have bought in three good quality players now and we're hoping to get another couple on top of that before the window closes.

"That might not satisfy all our supportersbut if they're frustrated about anything they can have a go at me - I'll be down in the dug-out and I'm a big boy - or even the Chairman up in the stand.

"Let's get behind the players and give them a chance. It's hard enough playing against the opposition, you don't want to be playing against your own supporters."
