Adams who was the only manager to offer the former Wolves midfielder a two year contract said: "It is always disappointing when someone wearing your colours goes on to a football field to try to do his best to get a result and is greeted with this sort of response. I think supporters who do that are not genuine supporters and I am disappointed with that."
