Bloomfield Road Record Not Worrying Coleman

Coventry City's record at Blackpool is not worrying Chris Coleman.

The Sky Blues or The Bantams before them have not won at Bloomfield Road since March 10 1923 and last season, in City's first visit since 1970, produced a 4-0 defeat for Iain Dowie's side.

"I hope we can do something about our record there but I don't pay too much attention to that because every game is different," said Coleman to the club website.

"There are always certain clubs where there seems to be a trend or a pattern where it's been a long time since you've won at a particular place but we will be going into the game looking at it as just another game.

"It's another 90 minutes, another test, another tough test and we've got to go there thinking we need to get something if we're serious about being in the top half of the table this year so we've got to go there and forget about what records are around and just do what we've been doing."
