Blair Adams Quits City

Blair Adams has had his Coventry City contract cancelled by mutual consent.

Adams joined City from Sunderland and made sixty four appearances.

However, he was left out of the team for the latter part of last season due to not fitting into the manager's plans and today has left the Sky Blues.

Steven Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph: "This was a very difficult decision for me to make because Blair is a fantastic kid and his attitude and approach towards the game is first class.

"I feel that some tactical adjustments will limit his first team opportunities and it is only fair that we give him the chance to seek regular football elsewhere.

"He has been a pleasure to work with and we wish him the very best of luck for the future."
