Blackpool FC face playing a competitive match behind closed doors if there is a repeat of the pitch invasion which forced their last match of last season against Huddersfield Town to be abandoned.

The Football Association have announced the Seasiders will "have to play a competitive home match behind closed doors if a similar incident occurs next season. ", something which is clearly not fair on the supporters of Blackpool's opponents.

Pre-season has seen more demonstrations which forced the match at Lancaster City to be abandoned and a match against Morecambe postponed.

Blackpool have also been fined £50,000.
