According To The People this morning, former Coventry City forward Leon Best could be having his contract paid off by Blackburn Rovers.
Best, according to the article by Alan Nixon, is on £34k a week, with two and a half yerars left on his contract, and Rovers' owners Venkys 'would be happy to give him a settlement' to get him off their books'.
The paper also says that by paying off Best, they would save £1.5m.
