Blackburn Rovers have apologised for comments made by former Coventry City coach and former Rovers manager Steve Kean.

During a Blackburn pre-season tour of the Far East in 2011, Kean was filmed in a bar making allegations about former Coventry City defender and former Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce. The video later appeared on YouTube.

Allardyce started legal proceedings and an out of court settlement was agreed last week.

Blackburn, via their club website have now officially apologised to Sam Allardyce.
