Blackburn And Celtic Have Westwood Interest

Last updated : 08 December 2010 By Covsupport News Service
Blackburn Rovers and Scottish side Celtic are two clubs who have been linked with Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood.

The shot stopper is out of contract at the end of the end of season and the sides are both being reported as keen to get the Republic Of Ireland on a pre-contract agreement before the January transfer window opens, for which some payment would be required.

Depending on what you believe, either Westwood has been offered a new deal by the Sky Blues and refused to sign it or he has not even seen the new deal.

Celtic previously made a bid which roughly equated to £3.50 and a haggis for Westwood and never got any further than some verbal jousting between managers Aidy Boothroyd and Neil Lennon.
