Birmingham Out Of FA Cup

In the big all Championship FA Cup Third Round tie tonight, Wolves won 2-0 at Birmingham City. Keogh and Vokes scored the goals for Mick McCarthy's side.

The other all Championship ties saw bottom side Charlton Athletic win 1-0 at Norwich City and Burnley beat QPR 2-1 after extra time.

Swansea City over-came a potential banana skin with a 2-1 win at Non-League Histon.

Sheffield United trailled to Leyton Orient but hit back with four goals in half an hour to win 4-1 at Brisbane Road whilst Holders Portsmouth won 2-0 at Bristol City.

Doncaster Rovers will need a replay after drawing 0-0 at Cheltenham Town.

Other FA Cup results saw Millwall win a replay 3-2 at Crewe and West Brom beat Peterborough 2-0.

Locally, BGB Southern League Midland Division leaders Leamington were held 3-3 at home by Leighton Town. Micky Bellingham scored twice with Corbett also on target as the Brakes went into a 3-1 lead before being pegged back in front of a crowd of 420.

Coventry Sphinx remain in fourth place in the Midland Alliance after their 2-2 draw with Tipton Town.

Racing Club Warwick were beaten 8-1 at home by Alvechurch whilst goals from Brookes, Brown and Petty gave Stratford Town a 3-2 home win over Shifnal Town.

Market Drayton top the division with a 4-0 win over Westfields.
