Coventry City Academy Boss Greg Rioch has admitted his pride in Billy Daniels being the latest City U18’s player to have trained with the first team.
Daniels, who has scored more than ten goals this season from midfield has spent this week training with the first team and speaking to Sky Blue Player, Rioch said: "We are very pleased with seeing Billy (Daniels) up there as he has been fantastic for us this season.
"We use this to focus the players and say "who's next?" to make the step up and it gives the players a goal when they see that door open.
"I know Andy (Thorn) has had a lot of injury issues this season but I think even without that, he would have continued to get the lads up from the Academy.
"It is great to see players getting into the first team and working there as that is why we are here. It is great to have that support as it is crucial in developing talent at this club."
