According to reports in the North East, a number of media outlets think that former Coventry City midfielder Gael Bigirimana is one of a number of players who have been told they can leave Newcastle United.
A number of outlets think that Bigirimana, who came through City's Academy and played for the first team before being sold to The Geordies, is in a list of players along with Yoan Gouffran, Mehdi Abeid and Haris Vuckic that have been told by Steve McLaren they can find employment elsewhere.
