Big Game For Us - Seaborne

Coventry City defender Danny Seaborne has said that tonight's game against Stevenage is a massive one.

“It’s a big, big game for us against Stevenage,” said Seaborne to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.

“The fans will expect us to win the next two games and I am expecting us to win them as well. There’s no doubt in my mind we need to go and win. It’s a must, and we will strive to make that happen and all the lads will be raring to go.

“We have got a really good group of lads but a young and inexperienced group who are gaining the bulk of their experience through this season.

“I don’t think the trials and tribulations we’ve had, starting on fire and turning round the ten-point deduction, is something many players do as quickly the lads did here. So riding that wave, it was easy to do well when everything was going right on the pitch and we were winning games.

“But when the chips are down that’s when you need to get round each other and take responsibility for each other; to drag each other along. The senior lads need to do more of that and it’s something we need to bring into our game tonight to get the three points.”
