Bet On Both City And Derby Not To Score

Last updated : 12 January 2012 By

Two home wins on the spin for Coventry were followed by two defeats the second of which saw them knocked out the FA Cup as the lost 2-1 to Championship league leaders Southampton.

Derby have hit a purple patch of late, racking up four wins on the spin to lift them to tenth in the Championship table.

The hosts are favourites as far as the bookmakers are concerned with a best price of 20/21 available (Victor Chandler) whilst the Sky Blues are priced at 7/2 to pick up their first three points on the road this campaign.

Recommended football betting tip:

Both teams NOT to score @ Evens

What we need here is for one or both of these sides to fail to score and the stats are in our favour. In four of Derby’s last five fixtures at least one of the sides have failed to find the net with Derby’s defence having improved greatly in recent weeks.

Even Coventry have managed to pick up a few clean sheets and this tip would have come in for their last five Championship fixtures so even money is a more than fair price on that run continuing.
