Coventry City striker Leon Best should be fit for Saturday's Championship game at home to Plymouth Argyle.

The striker suffered a gashed ankle which led to him being replaced in the 61st minute of City's 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

"It was quite a deep cut he got on his ankle and it looked pretty painful. But we put some stitches in after the game and kept him on crutches to keep his weight off it and he should be OK for the weekend," Assistant Manager Steve Kean said to the club website.
