Best took a hefty whack to the face in a poorly officiated match and could be out for a few weeks with this injury.
"It's another injury and things seem to be going against us," said Chris Coleman to the media after the game.
"Thankfully, the transfer window is open and I do want to bring in one or two loans. We did well today but you can only get away with it for so long.
"There is money available, but we're choosy. We signed players in the summer and, like a lot of clubs, we'll look mainly at loan signings. I don't think you'll see many permanent signings during this transfer window."
