Best Isn't Ready To Start

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman feels that striker Leon Best is not yet ready to start a first team game for the Sky Blues.

The striker is wearing a "Phantom Of The Opera" style mask to protect his face after having suffering a fracture of the face bone during the 1-1 draw at Queens Park Rangers last month.

Best was a late substitute in the win against Wolves and scored for City Reserves in a private friendly defeat against Aston Villa on Tuesday and will be in the squad to travel to Blackburn on Saturday.

However, City manager Chris Coleman said to the CT: "I don't think Leon Best is ready to start and it would be a big ask to get him to play ninety minutes, although he is ready to play a part like he did on Saturday."

The City manager is expected to again have Leon McKenzie and Clinton Morrison up front.
