Coventry City had their best home Boxing Day crowd since 2009 against Port Vale yesterday.
The crowd of 17.779 was the biggest since December 26th 2009 when a crowd of 19,221 saw Coventry City beat Doncaster 1-0 with a Clinton Morrison penalty.
It was the best crowd, Gillingham for the Ricoh Return apart, since City were relegated to League One.
The 1-0 win for City was their first home win against Port Vale since March 1959.
