Former Coventry City forward Craig Bellamy wants to leave Manchester City on a free transfer.

The 32 year old is in his final year of his contract at Eastlands and last year was loaned to Cardiff City with Man City paying most of his £90k a week wages.

However, there are media reports that this is unlikely to happen again and Bellamy, is according to sections of the press, to plead with Roberto Mancini to let him leave for nothing rather than a £4m figure which has been quoted.

Liverpool and Spurs have been mentioned as possible suitors after both clubs made unsuccessful enquiries last season, according to the News Of The World.
