The former Norwich man has been suffering with flu for over ten days and has missed the games at Northampton, Huddersfield, Dunfermline and at home to Everton.
Bell's ankle is still giving him some problems and Chris Coleman told the CT: "Belly should be back this week although he is not going to be back for Ipswich but he should be fit for the week.
"We are still keeping an eye on his ankle so he may need a bit more surgery, and if it does, it is going to keep him out for another month I would imagine."
