Bell Hoping His Nightmare Is Over

Coventry City winger David Bell is hoping that his injury problems of the last seven months can be put behind him.

Bell has had two operations for a recurring ankle injury but is now back in training.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Bell said: "I'm over the moon that I'm back on the grass to be honest. "No player likes being injured but I've been a nightmare and my missus must have been pulling her hair out but I've been training with the boys and I just want to put it all behind me as quickly as possible.

"Me and James McPake have been like room mates in the physio room recently but it's good we're both looking to get back sooner rather than later and hopefully if the manager sends us out on loan it would be nice if we could go to the same club.

"Hopefully I'm looking to try and get four or five games under my belt in a month to get back to full fitness because it's been a long time since I've played 90 minutes.

"But the boys are doing well at the moment so my main aim is to get myself back so I can help them out as soon as possible."
