Coventry Bees Speedway Team have re-arranged an Elite League meeting in order to avoid a clash with Coventry City's first game back at the Ricoh Arena.

The Bees will now take on King’s Lynn on Thursday September 4 (7.30pm) in a meeting which was initially scheduled for the Friday, but would have clashed directly with the return to the Ricoh Arena of Coventry City FC, whose televised League One match against Gillingham is expected to pull in a huge attendance.

Coventry Speedway did not consider it sensible to attempt to run a meeting at the same time, and The Bees have thanked King’s Lynn for their co-operation in bringing their fixture forward by a day

The Bees are looking at the possibility of some future tie-ups, and supporters who are attending the Gillingham match should retain their tickets.
