Coventry City midfielder Tom Bayliss has been praising Sky Blues boss Mark Robins.

Bayliss, who scored for City in the defeat at Colchester United on Tuesday night, has progressed through City U18's and City's U23's, and told the Daily Mail about the City boss; "The club will always produce players, all the lads who are my age are very good and know there is a chance of progressing. If you do well you are aware of where it can take you.

"There is no pressure on us. The gaffer is brilliant, he will always talk to you, tell you what you need to improve. Before games he will give you information on players you'll be up against.

"He is good with the young lads, always getting us training with the first team. Even when I wasn't playing games, I'd be up and around it."

Bayliss hopes to continue his goalscoring run in tomorrow's FA Cup Fifth Round tie at Brighton & Hove Albion and said: "There is no better feeling than scoring,' he says. 'Hopefully I can nick one at the weekend and we go through.

"You have always got to believe you can win no matter who the team is. We are quietly confident about our chances but obviously we have to show Brighton a massive amount of respect.

"Personally it has been a whirlwind, the best few months of my life. You are doing what you've always wanted to do, play in front of crowds. We have to go there and play our game and see where it takes us."
